After a lot research on Modular Homes my wife and I came to the realization that a Modular Home built by Deer Valley HomeBuilders

is better than any stick built house in our area. These Modular Homes are built to be sold in multiple states and have to be up to the same building codes as stick built homes in each of those states. So, the house is built to meet and exceed every states building codes. 

I personally oversaw the building codes approval process with our county. Our Modular Home passed with flying colors. This showed me that the build quality of our Modular Home is up to the same standards as any stick built house. After living in the home for two years, in my opinion, the Modular Home does exceed the build quality of any stick built house. If you check out the link above you will read that Deer Valley HomeBuilders holds themselves to a higher standard. Our home was built in a climate controlled environment (not out in the elements like a stick built) using the absolute best home building materials. The result is a stunningly solid house with 9 foot ceilings, 6 inch outer walls (stick built is 4 inches), and an inviting open floor plan. We have owned houses in The Reserve at Port Royal, Mathis Valley, and Oak Lake (all in Spring Hill).Those were all great stick built houses, but by far this Modular Home is the best built.

This article mentions Modular Homes after Hurricane Andrew devastated Miami, FL in 1993. I can personally attest to this section of the article because I lived in Miami at the time and the only homes standing in parts of Miami were Modular Homes. The stick built houses next to them were just in pieces. I saw this first hand.

Also I wanted to note that, just like the building codes, the financing on a Modular Home is no different than a stick built house. Banks and mortgage lenders treat these Modular Homes just like any stick built house.

You must come visit this home and take a walk on the trails throughout the 7.3 acres to truly appreciate it.
